Quinn Cook is from Prince George's County, Maryland. He played high school basketball at Dematha Catholic High School. After high school, he played college basketball under Coach K at Duke University. He played all four seasons, and won a national championship in 2015 as a senior captain. He later played in the NBA for the Dallas Mavericks, the New Orleans Pelicans and the Cleveland Cavaliers before joining the Golden State Warriors. He won a championship with the Warriors team in 2018 - playing alongside Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. In 2020, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, and is now plays with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. In his first year with the Lakers, he made a huge impact during the season as the Lakers went on to win a championship that year.
Patrick Robinson is from Calvert County, Maryland. In the early 2000s he played with some of the best hoopers in the country as part of the And-1 team. His unbelievable handles put him on the map. Later, he would lend his skill with basketball moves to animate all of the players moves in the NBA2K video game. He has had sponsorships with Gatorade and he has been featured in several news stories. Currently, he is a professional trainer who trains top high school, college and pro players at his facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland. His favorite quote is, "I used to take my basketball everywhere now my basketball takes me everywhere." Pat's basketball has taken him to over 30 countries teaching the game.
Alex Simmons grew up in Shelbyville, Tennessee, town where she says they were known for riding horses and playing basketball. During her playing days she was a standout athlete. In high school, she was a McDonald's All-American and Miss Basketball in Tennessee. For college, she played at the University of Tennessee under the legendary coach Pat Summitt and alongside another legend Candace Parker. Simmons would go on to become a back-to-back national champion (2007, 2008) with the Volunteers. After she graduated college, she went on to become a graduate assistant at the University of Kansas (2009). After one year with the Jayhawks she would later become an assistant coach for Middle Tennessee State University (2010-2013) and Ole Miss (2013-2018). She was offered her first head coaching position at Gardner-Webb University (NC). She would spend five years with the program where she would finish with an overall record of 89-58 and a conference record of 62-27. In 2023, she led her team to a 29-5 record and went on to be 16-0 in conference. The Bulldogs became conference regular season and tournament champions. She was awarded Big South Coach of the Year. She became the Women’s basketball head coach of the Tigers in April 2023.
